  • - Keep the same seed when you need to regenerate the exact same puzzle.
  • - Use DXF for production cutting and SVG or PNG for layout previews.

Limitations

  • - V1 generates the cut template only; it does not place artwork or photos on top of the puzzle.
  • - Kerf compensation is not applied automatically; set that in your cutter or CAD/CAM workflow.
  • - Very dense grids can create fragile pieces, especially in thick material.

FAQ

Can I choose the number of pieces?

Yes. Use the rows/columns mode for exact grid control, or piece-size mode to let the tool calculate a practical grid from your target piece size.

Why is there a pattern seed?

The seed controls the tab and blank directions. The same seed produces the same drawing, and Refresh gives you a different layout.

Does it upload my file?

No. There is no file upload in this tool; the puzzle drawing is generated locally in your browser.

Which file should I cut?

Use DXF for laser/CNC software. SVG is useful for vector design tools, and PNG is meant for quick visual previews.
